Dr. Leslie Scroggins Markle completed her Bachelors degree at Texas A&M in College Station and her Doctor of Medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston (UTMB) before returning to Tyler, her hometown. Recognized academically at both institutions, she also completed her internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at UTMB, serving as chief resident in her final year.
She credits her father, a Tyler family practice physician, who taught her the love of medicine and to treat her patients with a servant’s heart. Dr. Markle knows all too well the psychological and daily impact skin disease can have on a patient, and her desire is to alleviate that stress and pain.
Dr. Markle enjoys spending time with her husband, Bobby, and their daughters, Cora and Ellie.
We expect you will appreciate Dr. Markle’s warm, caring approach to patient care and the clinical skills she employs to deliver advanced skin care for your health, your life and your lifestyle.
