Dr. Tiffany Tello is a Board-Certified Dermatologist & Fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Denver where she was a Division 1 athlete. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Colorado where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received several awards for her research. She completed her dermatology residency training at the top-ranked University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and stayed on to complete fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology, facial reconstructive surgery, and laser and cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Tello is an expert in Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery for the treatment of skin cancer. In addition to treating basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and several rare cancers, she is also trained to use the MART-1 immunostain to treat melanoma in situ (MIS) using the Mohs technique. This treatment offers the highest cure rate and optimal cosmetic outcome for MIS of the head and neck. She also has extensive experience in cosmetic dermatology and laser procedures, including CO2 laser for wrinkles and discoloration, botox injections, fillers for facial rejuvenation (including Juvederm, Voluma, Vollure, Volbella, Restylane, Belotero, Sculptra), and Kybella for fullness under the chin.
Dr. Tello has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, several textbook chapters, and has presented her research at national and international meetings. She is board-certified in dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Colorado Dermatologic Society.
In her free time, she can be found skiing, hiking, and enjoying time outdoors with her daughter, husband, and white lab.
