In an increased effort to flatten the curve and keep both our patients and health care workers safe, our offices are now offering online dermatology options, also known as telehealth or teledermatology, which will allow patients to be seen without putting anyone at risk. In many cases, you can begin seeing a Dermatologist in less than 24 hours – that way, you can get a diagnosis and treatment plan quickly and easily. If you need a prescription, your dermatologist can send it to your local pharmacy electronically.
Founded as a solo practice in 1987 by Dr. Glenn Goldstein, Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers, now a part of U.S. Dermatology Partners, began offering the highest quality dermatologic services in the Kansas City area. It was the first practice to offer full-time Mohs micrographic surgery for the treatment of high-risk skin cancer.
Today it is recognized as one of the top treatment centers in the U.S. with 20 board-certified dermatologists, including seven fellowship trained Mohs surgeons. Over 100,000 patients pass through the doors of Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers each year, and our highly specialized medical professionals treat over 7,000 skin cancers and thousands of other dermatological conditions annually.
Using a balanced approach to general dermatology, skin cancer treatments and prevention, cosmetic skin procedures and cosmetic and aesthetic surgery of the face and body, Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers offers well-rounded service to all patients.
The expanding practice now also includes a range of cosmetic plastic surgery procedures, including breast augmentation, liposuction, rhinoplasty, facelifts, body contouring and more at certain locations. Providing the latest treatments in laser skin treatment, the practice is recognized as a national training center by the largest laser company in the world.
