Jake Kreck graduated Magna Cum Laude from Abilene Christian University before embarking in research at UT Southwestern, where he delved into the complexities of Graft vs Host Disease (GvHD) and the impact of Tumour Necrosis Factor alpha (TNF alpha). Jake’s dedication to advancing his knowledge led him to pursue a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at UT Southwestern.
Prior to dermatology, Jake practiced as a physician assistant for several years in the field of neurosurgery and spine. It was his passion for the outdoors that led him to expand his knowledge and expertise in dermatology. Jake’s clinical interests include skin cancer care and various other dermatologic conditions. His commitment to patient care and continuous learning has made him a trusted and respected healthcare provider in the dermatology community.
Outside of work, Jake enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and training his bird dog, “Frank”. In addition to his personal pursuits, he volunteers as a boat captain for his local high school bass fishing team.
