Dr. Andrew Armenta is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. He graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. Following college, he completed medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. After graduating medical school, he stayed there to complete his internship in internal medicine, residency in dermatology, and fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery. During his medical training he authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers, posters, and podium presentations and presented them at national meetings.
Dr. Armenta is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the American Medical Association. He practices general dermatology seeing patients of all ages. Dr. Armenta specializes in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, Mohs micrographic surgery, and advanced facial reconstruction. He believes in a patient-centric approach, where the well-being and comfort of his patients take top priority. His bedside manner, compassion, and attention to detail ensure that his patients receive the highest level of care. He understands that undergoing surgical procedures can be a daunting experience, and he goes above and beyond to provide a reassuring and empathetic environment for his patients. He is poised to make a lasting impact in the field of Mohs surgery and is committed to providing the highest quality of care to his patients.
Outside of the medical world, Dr. Armenta enjoys staying active through sports and hiking. He is also an avid sports fan, especially of his alma mater the Arkansas Razorbacks. When he is not watching or playing sports, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family.
