Kristina Parsons is a certified nurse practitioner at U.S. Dermatology Partners in Granbury, Texas.
Kristina Parsons had early aspirations of pursuing a career in healthcare and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from UT Arlington in 1997. For the next several years, she worked predominately in the intensive care unit in Fort Worth. Kristina graduated with honors, Sigma Theta Tau, in 2006 from UT Arlington with a master’s degree in science with advanced practice nursing. She has also participated as an adjunct clinical faculty for the online nurse practitioner program at UT Arlington.
Kristina made the decision to transition into dermatology because she desired to focus on being proficient in one medical specialty. Kristina’s clinical interests include educating and treating patients with melanoma and other skin cancers. She considers it a privilege to partner with her patients to look and feel healthy by enhancing their self-esteem through developing a healthy skin regime. Kristina focuses on individualized patient care, ensuring her patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. She is very excited to begin a new career in dermatology and looks forward to building long-term relationships with her patients.
Born in a small town in England to Serbian immigrants, Kristina moved to Texas in the mid-1980s. She has served in the Parker, Hood, and Tarrant counties for several years and has deep roots in the area. She and her husband, who is also a nurse, reside in Aledo with their 2 children and 3 dogs. She enjoys reading, running, and traveling with her family.
