Dr. Fiona Shaw was born and raised in New York City, and received her undergraduate education at Haverford College, where she studied psychology and music. After college, she worked in HIV public health at the New York State Department of Health before earning her medical degree at the Emory University School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine internship at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut prior to returning to Emory for her residency in dermatology, where she was selected to participate in the Society for Investigative Dermatology’s Future Leaders Retreat and served as a chief resident in her final year. In addition to her clinical training, she has completed research fellowships in melanoma therapeutics at Weill Cornell Medical College and skin cancer epidemiology at Brown University.
Dr. Shaw enjoys treating a wide variety of dermatologic conditions including acne and acne-related disorders, eczema, psoriasis, and screening for skin cancers. She performs skin surgery for the removal of cancerous and non-cancerous conditions, as well as cosmetic procedures such as botulinum (Botox) injections.
In her free time, Dr. Shaw enjoys running, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
