Dr. Rachel Cetta is a board-certified dermatologist practicing at North Valley Dermatology Peoria, now a part of U.S. Dermatology Partners.
Dr. Cetta obtained her undergraduate and master’s degree at Arizona State University before receiving her medical degree at Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale Arizona, in 2015. She then went on to complete her traditional rotating internship and dermatology residency at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton, Michigan.
While at Midwestern University, Dr. Cetta was awarded the McGraw-Hill/Lange Book Award, for ranking number one during her first year of medical school, and the Robert F. Crawford, M.D. Scholastic Achievement Award, for ranking number one during her second year of medical school. Dr. Cetta also volunteered by providing dermatologic care to the underinsured community in the Phoenix area. In addition to her education, Dr. Cetta is a proud member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD); she had the opportunity to be a camp counselor during the AAD’s annual Camp Discovery, a summer camp for children with various skin conditions.
Dr. Cetta finds treating skin cancer to be the most rewarding part of her job; however, she enjoys both medical and cosmetic dermatology. In her free time, Dr. Cetta enjoys spending time with family and going to the movies with her husband.
