Dr. Patel is dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based dermatologic care and considers it a privilege to help patients achieve healthy, confident skin. Her clinical experience includes the evaluation and treatment of a variety of skin conditions, with specialized training in oncodermatology, a field focused on the care of patients with skin cancer and complex skin conditions.
Dr. Patel earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she graduated first in her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her internship at Baylor College of Medicine before pursuing dermatology residency training at MD Anderson Cancer Center and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.
During her training, Dr. Patel also participated in more than 10 clinical trials and contributed to more than 60 publications and presentations in dermatology. Her experience in clinical research has further strengthened her commitment to providing patients with care backed by the latest evidence and advances in dermatology.
Dr. Patel joins the accomplished team at Medical Dermatology Specialists Phoenix, founded and led by Dr. Lindsay Ackerman. The practice is home to an all-female team of board-certified dermatologists who share a commitment to delivering high-quality, personalized dermatologic care.
