Karlie Cason grew up in Southeast Texas and attended Lamar University. While in college, she worked for a multi-specialty group and volunteered in a clinic serving underprivileged patients. This is where she found her passion for medicine and decided to pursue her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. Ms. Cason graduated magna cum laude from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in biology and received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
After graduation, she practiced family medicine in Chandler and wrote informational health articles for the Statesman Newspaper. She provided care in several urgent care clinics in communities surrounding Tyler. She has always had an interest in dermatology and treated a variety of skin conditions within the scope of her family practice clinic.
Ms. Cason enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and her corgi dogs.
She looks forward to using the broad resources of U.S. Dermatology Partners Palestine to bring all the benefits of advanced skin care to her patients to enrich their lives and their health.
