Emily Jenson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in 2002. After completing her undergraduate studies, Emily taught health to middle school students in Las Vegas, NV. A few years later, she decided to pursue her physician assistant studies at Midwestern University where she received her Master of Medical Science in 2016. After graduating, Emily earned her board certification as a physician’s assistant in September of 2016.
After completing her educational requirements, Emily Jenson worked as a physician assistant in allergy and immunology before transitioning into dermatology practice. Emily loves working in dermatology. She is drawn to the variety of cases and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her patients.
To ensure she stays at the forefront of the field, Emily maintains memberships in professional organizations, including the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Originally from Seattle, Emily loves the warmth and sunshine in Arizona. She spends much of her spare time with her daughter. She enjoys hiking, rock climbing, tennis, and traveling.
