Dr. Ivie Manalo moved to Arizona from the state of Georgia, where she received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech, graduating with Highest Honors. She earned her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Georgia, and subsequently completed her Dermatology residency at Emory University, working at Emory University, the Atlanta VA Medical Center, Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, and Grady Hospital. In her final year of training, she served as Chief Dermatology Resident.
Dr. Manalo is double Board-Certified by the American Academy of Dermatology as a Dermatologist and as a Micrographic Dermatologic Surgeon. She also received sub-specialty training in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstruction through an ACGME-accredited Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at Skin Care Physicians of Georgia. In addition to authoring numerous articles in prestigious dermatology journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Manalo has been an invited article reviewer and has given talks at several dermatology conferences.
She is excited to be reunited with the rest of her family who have relocated to Phoenix during her medical training. In her free time, Dr. Manalo enjoys spending time with her husband, young son, family, and friends in addition to cooking, exploring new culinary adventures, and yoga.
Dr. Manalo treats patients at our Peoria on Thunderbird and Goodyear offices and is now accepting new patients.
