Wendy Freden has enjoyed 27 years as a practicing Board Certified Physician Assistant. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1998 and has a wide span of medical knowledge as her work history includes rural medicine, family practice, women’s health and hormone replacement, urgent care and emergency medicine. But for numerous years, she has flourished with the creative practice of aesthetic medicine.
Wendy was born in Detroit, Michigan but considers herself a true Southerner as she spent most of her life in Texas, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. Her family life is complete with her husband, Patrick, three children (Cameron, Carson and Cooper) and one grandchild, Charlie. You will often catch her at F45, Legacy Trail, or playing pickleball with friends and family. If you live close enough to her home, you will often hear her cheering on (or yelling at) her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys in the fall and while she loves outdoors but never goes without her SPF for skin protection.
As a breast cancer survivor, she has a unique understanding of the effects of rapid aging once a woman is depleted of her hormones through menopause or hormone fueled cancer. She strives to help women achieve their aesthetic goals while maintaining a natural appearance. With the multiple aesthetic options at the Center for Aesthetic and Laser Medicine, she has been able to continue her love of Aesthetic Medicine and looks forward to every visit from returning and new patients.
