Brianna Koym, MPAS, MPH, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant licensed by the Texas Medical Board and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
A native of the Houston, TX area, Brianna earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston, followed by her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants. She also holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Community Health Practice from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, reflecting her strong commitment to preventive medicine.
Brianna’s passion for dermatology began during her undergraduate years while working as a medical assistant in a dermatology clinic. As a dermatology PA, she practices both medical and surgical dermatology, with a special interest in the early detection of skin cancer and the management of chronic inflammatory conditions such as hidradenitis suppurativa and psoriasis. Her professional affiliations include the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
When she is not busy caring for her patients, Brianna enjoys spending her time cooking, traveling, and enjoying the company of family as well as her rescue dog, Penny.
