Who Is a Good Candidate for Sculptra?

Sculptra is recommended for adults who have mild to moderate signs of aging and want to treat wrinkles, frown lines and smile lines. It is not recommended for people who have a history of keloid formation or hypertrophic scarring.

How Is Sculptra Performed?

Typically you’ll receive three series of injections over a few months, although the number can vary from one person to the next. The injections are made into the deep dermis to reach the strands of collagen inside the body.

Are There Side Effects to Sculptra?

The most common side effects include swelling at the injection site, tenderness, redness, pain, bruising, bleeding, itching and lumps. Other side effects can sometimes include small lumps under the skin that are noticeable when pressing on the treated area.

How Long Will Sculptra Last?

Results can last for more than two years.
