Dr. Rebecca Dufner Joins the Plano Office, Expanding On-site Patch Testing Services While Providing Comprehensive Dermatology Care
Dr. Dufner provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care for patients of all ages. She also brings advanced expertise in patch testing, expanding access to specialized on-site testing that helps patients identify the underlying causes of allergic skin reactions.
Dr. Dufner specializes in diagnosing and treating chronic inflammatory skin diseases, skin cancer, allergic contact dermatitis, and a wide range of common skin conditions. She is also experienced in procedural and cosmetic dermatology, offering patients comprehensive care focused on achieving healthy skin throughout every stage of life.
A graduate of Stanford University, Dr. Dufner earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine before completing postgraduate training at Harvard-affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and dermatology residency at Tufts Medical Center, where she served as Academic Chief Resident. She further advanced her expertise through specialized training in aesthetic dermatology at Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital Laser and Cosmetic Center and advanced patch testing training at Stanford University.
Prior to joining U.S. Dermatology Partners, Dr. Dufner served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Director of Digital Health and Clinical Innovation at Tufts Medical Center, where she also led an advanced patch testing and contact dermatitis clinic.
Dr. Dufner joins the experienced team of physicians at U.S. Dermatology Partners Plano, working alongside Dr. Daniel Condie, Dr. Edgar Martinez, Dr. Eric Kowalski, and Dr. Karen Karimi, to provide comprehensive dermatologic care for patients throughout Plano and the surrounding communities.
