**In Memoriam**

A TRIBUTE TO DR. JEROLD DENNIS MICHAELSON

Dr. Jerold Michaelson was born in Dallas, TX on December 20, 1942. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed an internship at the Dallas V.A. Medical Center and a dermatology residency at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida and Baylor Affiliated Hospital in Houston.

Dr. Michaelson served proudly as a Captain in the United States Navy and was married to Frankie Music Michaelson for 52 years. He was a highly regarded dermatologist, running his own practice in Dallas for 45 years. He was also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a long time congregant of Shearith Israel Synagogue.

Dr. Michaelson was an avid art collector who was devoted to his children and grandchildren. We are thankful for all his years of service to the Dallas community.

Dr. Jerold Michaelson earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed an internship at the Dallas V.A. Medical Center and a dermatology residency at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida and Baylor Affiliated Hospital in Houston.

Dr. Michaelson is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Society, and the Dallas County Medical Society.

Dr. Michaelson served in the United States Military in USNR with 1^st and 5^thMarine Divisions for several years after completing his dermatology residency. He also had a teaching appointment Parkland Memorial Hospital and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Michaelson has been in private practice in Dallas since 1973 and has been recognized numerous times by D Magazine and Texas Monthly as Top Physician and Top Dermatologist. Dr. Michaelson has a clinical interest in medical dermatology and the detection and treatment of skin cancer.
