Mahtaub Darvish earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, and remained there to earn her Doctor of Medical Science. She previously worked as a medical assistant and a physician assistant student at the U.S. Dermatology Partners Centreville office and completed an intensive clinical and didactic dermatology internship. She has a strong passion for helping patients feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin and believes that skin conditions, whether medical or cosmetic, can have a significant impact on a person’s self-esteem and quality of life.
Mahtaub is a former diversity and inclusion representative of her physician assistant program, a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Her clinical interests include acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer screenings. She is dedicated to delivering individualized, empathetic, and patient-centered care.
