With more than four years of dedicated dermatology experience, Katy Boren provides comprehensive dermatology care for patients of all ages and treats a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships and helping patients look and feel confident in their skin through personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Katy Boren is a board-certified Physician Assistant and is excited to serve patients in the greater Houston area. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating summa cum laude from East Texas Baptist University, where she also played collegiate basketball. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Katy began her career in emergency medicine, where she developed strong skills in acute care and clinical evaluation. She transitioned into dermatology, drawn to the specialty’s unique blend of medical, surgical, and cosmetic care. Additionally, Katy is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, reflecting her commitment to clinical excellence and staying current with the latest advancements in dermatology.
