U.S. Dermatology Partners is pleased to welcome Experienced Certified Physician Assistant Johnson Mwangi to their Canton, Texas, office. He will also see patients in their Athens, Lindale, and Tyler Beckham offices.
Johnson Mwangi earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia. He has over 10 years of service in the United States Air Force as a commissioned officer and is currently serving as a Major in the Texas Air National Guard. Johnson has a breadth of experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, and vascular surgery. During his active-duty service, he performed numerous skin biopsies and treated a vast number of skin conditions including rashes, and eczema, and assisted in the treatment of skin cancer.
Johnson practices medical and cosmetic dermatology. Some of his favorite conditions to treat include acne, eczema, psoriasis, lipomas, fungal infections, and skin cancer prevention and treatment. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants. Johnson is currently accepting patients of all ages and skin types in our Canton, Texas clinic under the supervision of Board-Certified Dermatologist, Dr. Leslie Markle.
