Dr. Andrew Armenta is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. He graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. From there, he completed medical school at The University of Texas Medical Brand in Galveston, TX. Following graduation, he completed his internship in internal medicine, residency in dermatology, and fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery. Throughout his medical training, he authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers, posters, and podium presentations.
Dr. Armenta is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Armenta specializes in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, Mohs micrographic surgery, and advanced facial reconstruction. He practices general dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer removal. He believes in a patient-centric approach, where the well-being and comfort of his patients takes top priority and goes above and beyond to provide a reassuring and empathetic environment for his patients.
