The new office is located at 1105 W Frank Ave #320, in Lufkin, Texas, and will open on June 1, 2023. The new office is located within the CHI St. Luke’s Health Memorial Hospital campus and features nine exam rooms and a dedicated waiting area. Patients will enjoy an improved experience via access to multiple providers and reduced wait times. The office will be open Monday through Friday for convenient appointment scheduling. Available services include annual skin examinations, medical dermatology for the treatment of chronic skin conditions, diagnosis and treatment options for skin cancer, and medical-grade skin care products.
A staple of the Lufkin community since 2020, U.S. Dermatology Partners Lufkin was opened as an extension of U.S. Dermatology Partners’ Nacogdoches office which opened in 2015. The office is led by Certified Family Nurse Practitioners Kelly Jackson and Destiny New with medical oversight by Board-Certified Dermatologist, Dr. Michaela Overturf.
Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Kelly Jackson earned a Master of Science in Nursing / Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She is a Registered Nurse and a Certified Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in dermatology. She is a Registered Nurse and a Certified Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in dermatology. She sees patients of all ages and skin types and has received multiple ‘Best of Lufkin’ awards in the dermatology category of Lukin Daily News annual awards.
Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Destiny New earned a Master of Science in Nursing / Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas in Arlington. Her clinical interests include acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, as well as cosmetic dermatology. She cares for patients of all ages and skin types.
