U.S. Dermatology Partners expands access to dermatology care to patients in Van Zandt County with the opening of the organization’s newest office location.
U.S. Dermatology Partners is pleased to announce the opening of its newest office location in Canton, Texas. Beginning on August 7th, 2023, our team of health professionals will offer convenient access to a wide range of dermatologic services, including acne, psoriasis, eczema, and skin cancer treatments, to patients of all ages in Van Zandt County.
To improve access to professional dermatologic care, U.S. Dermatology Partners is launching more than 30 new locations across eight states through 2024. These new offices, including the location in Canton, will provide patients with more convenient access to the care they need and deserve. Access to essential dermatological care can be a challenge for patients seeking treatment in rural areas due to extended wait times or the need to travel long distances to reach the nearest practitioners.
The Canton office will be led by experienced Certified Physician Assistant Johnson Mwangi, under the supervision of Board-Certified Dermatologist Dr. Leslie Markle. PA Mwangi has over a decade of service in the United States Air Force and is a Major in the Texas National Guard. He practices both medical and cosmetic dermatology and treats a wide range of dermatologic conditions. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants. Dr. Leslie Markle has over 11 years of experience as a dermatologist and was recently recognized by her peers as a Super Doctors® Rising Star
