Nishan Thapa is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology. Nishan began his healthcare career in nursing having earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma. He went on to complete his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Boston. With more than seven years of clinical experience as a Dermatology PA, Nishan has practiced in South and Central Texas prior to joining U.S. Dermatology Partners of Austin – Mueller.
Blending his passion for dermatology with a strong commitment to patient-centered care, Nishan works closely with each individual to create personalized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique skin care needs.
Nishan is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA). As part of his commitment to ongoing medical education, Nishan completed the SDPA Diplomate Fellowship program and consistently attends national conferences to stay at the forefront of the latest treatment advancements and guidelines in dermatology.
