Scottsdale, Arizona – Board Certified Dermatologist, Dr. Jennifer Sawaya joined Southwest Skin Specialists Scottsdale, now a part of U.S. Dermatology Partners.
Dr. Sawaya earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in 2008 before receiving her medical degree from University of Nevada in 2014. Her postgraduate training included an internal medicine internship at Harvard Medical School, a dermatology residency at the University of Arizona, and a laser and cosmetic dermatology clinical and research fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition to her education, Dr. Sawaya is a proud member of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Sawaya did advanced training in cosmetic and laser dermatology and has a particular interest in surgical excisions and Mohs surgical procedures. She finds the ability to give patients increased confidence in themselves through improving and treating their skin the most rewarding part of her job.
In her free time, Dr. Sawaya enjoys travel, exercise, cooking, and spending time with her fiancé, family and friends.
