Dr. Shagets earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri. He then completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery followed by a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Iowa. Dr. Shagets is double-board certified and has extensive experience over many years of practice.
A longtime resident of Joplin, Dr. Shagets will practice at our office located at 2829 S. Jackson Avenue in Joplin, where he will focus on reconstructive procedures following extensive skin cancer removal as well as minor cases in other areas of expertise.
