Dr. Patel attended medical school at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. During medical school, she also completed a year-long clinical research fellowship with the department of Dermatology at The Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania. She received her specialty training in dermatology at Johns Hopkins University where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. Throughout her training, Dr. Patel made many notable research contributions and has been published in some of the top dermatology journals including JAMA Dermatology as well as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Patel chose dermatology because he enjoys the variety of the field which includes both medical and procedural aspects. She will treat patients of all ages for a wide range of skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and annual skin exams.
