Dallas, Texas – Dr. Abraham Kuruvilla, a board-certified dermatologist and accomplished academic professor, joins U.S. Dermatology Partners, serving patients at both the Dallas Uptown office and the new office at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. He begins seeing patients on September 5th.
Dr. Kuruvilla received his medical degree in medicine and surgery from the University of Kerala in Trivandrum, India. He then completed his Ph.D. in immunology from Baylor College of Medicine, where he also completed an internship in pediatrics.
He completed his residency of dermatology at the Boston University and Tufts University Schools of Medicine. After some time in private practice, Dr. Kuruvilla earned an additional Ph.D. in hermeneutics at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
Dr. Kuruvilla also serves as a professor at Dallas Theological Seminary. When he is not in clinic or the classroom, he enjoys reading, writing, preaching, listening to Bach, and collecting old dermatology textbooks.
