Certified Physician Assistant Megan Parsons Joins U.S. Dermatology Partners
A Joplin native, Megan Parsons graduated from Missouri Southern State University in biology. While earning her degree, she spent several years gaining medical experience in a surgical subspecialty. Parsons went on to pursue her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, where she grew a passion for dermatology.
“I’m excited to come back to U.S. Dermatology Partners and treat patients in Joplin and the surrounding area—the community I’m proud to call home,” Parsons said. “My approach to patient care is driven by a sense of compassion and purpose to serve others. I’m grateful for this opportunity to make a positive impact in people’s lives and expand access to dermatology care.”
Parsons is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Her professional interests include treating a variety of conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and in skin cancer detection and education.
