Dr. Paul Stover Joins Lee’s Summit Office

February 6, 2018

LEE’S SUMMIT — Dr. Paul Stover recently joined the Lee’s Summit practice after relocating from Wisconsin. Dr. Stover grew up in a farming community in Iowa and earned his bachelor’s degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine.

Headshot of dermatologist Paul StoverHe has practiced in Kansas, and, most recently, in Wisconsin for 21 years.

“I have always enjoyed detective and mystery novels and find dermatology is somewhat like being a detective,” he says. “We observe and then try to deduce the cause of the problem. I also enjoy seeing the wide range of ages in a dermatology practice, doing skin surgery, and the basic science involved in this part of medicine.”

Dr. Stover’s main clinical interests include contact allergy, skin cancer, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis, and he enjoys building relationships with patients. “Most interesting is getting to know the story each patient is telling you,” Dr. Stover says.

Dr. Stover joins a team of Board Certified Dermatologists, Mohs Surgeons and aestheticians providing medical, surgical, cosmetic dermatology and Mohs Surgery for skin cancer removal. Lee’s Summit office opened in the Fall of 2006.

About Dermatology & Skin Cancer Centers
Founded as a solo practice in 1987 by Dr. Glenn Goldstein, Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers, now a part of U.S. Dermatology Partners, began offering the highest quality dermatologic services in the Kansas City area. The expanding practice now also includes a range of cosmetic plastic surgery procedures, including breast augmentation, liposuction, rhinoplasty, facelifts, body contouring and more at certain locations.
