Pheonix and Scottsdale, Arizona – Dr. Adam Norberg began treating patients at U.S. Dermatology Partners, formerly Southwest Skin Specialists, in Scottsdale and Biltmore, on August 26th.
Dr. Norberg earned his undergraduate degree at Arizona State University before receiving his medical degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. While attending UCLA, Dr. Norberg contributed extensive research and evaluated the risk of specific skin cancers in individuals with multiple myeloma and chemotherapies at the prestigious Institute for Myeloma & Bone Cancer Research under the direction of Dr. James Berenson in West Hollywood. He then completed his internal medicine internship at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.
After his internship, Dr. Norberg began his dermatology residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. During his residency, Dr. Norberg was a volunteer at the Venice Family Clinic, offering free dermatology services for the underserved community in West Los Angeles.
Dr. Norberg has a particular interest in skin cancer and sports-related dermatoses. He is passionate about providing an exceptional healthcare experience, educating patients about their health, and fostering lasting relationships with his patients. Dr. Norberg most enjoys the visual nature of dermatology and treating a wide variety conditions and patients.
In his free time, Dr. Norberg enjoys coaching his children’s youth sports, listening to podcasts, exercising, and spending time with his family.
