The addition of Dr. DeWitt strengthens the practice’s ability to meet growing patient demand by increasing appointment availability, reducing wait times, and enhancing the range of services offered, including cosmetic dermatology treatments.
Dr. DeWitt brings more than 15 years of experience from her clinical and academic career at Georgetown University Hospital, where she served as Residency Program Director and Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology. Her clinical expertise spans autoimmune and inflammatory skin diseases, complex medical dermatology, and advanced aesthetic procedures including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and laser treatments.
Dr. DeWitt earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Missouri, where she was accepted early to medical school as a Conley Scholar and spent a year studying abroad in England through a Science Exchange Program. She completed her dermatology residency at Southern Illinois University, followed by a prestigious three-year fellowship in immunodermatology at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
