Emily Spinner is a graduate of Bellaire High School. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics at Indiana University and graduated with highest distinction. She earned her Masters of Science in physician assistant studies from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and has practiced dermatology exclusively since graduating.
Emily’s practice includes medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. As a physician assistant who has received specialized training in dermatology, Emily is licensed and qualified to perform comprehensive dermatological examinations, diagnose, treat and prescribe appropriate medical therapy for all dermatologic needs. She is skilled in performing procedures that include shave biopsies, punch biopsies and cryotherapy. She has additional specialized training in laser therapy and non-surgical body contouring treatments such as CoolSculpting. Emily regularly pursues additional knowledge through ongoing continuing medical education trainings.
Emily is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners and a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Texas Association of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants. In her spare time, Emily enjoys her life as a new mom, travel and fitness activities.
