Tricia Ridley has worked in the medical profession since May 1998. She joined U.S. Dermatology Partners as a physician assistant in February 2008. In addition to her care for patients, Tricia also supports the U.S. Dermatology Partners practice by maintaining its quality criteria for the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Healthcare, which requires recertification every three years.
Tricia is also an Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety officer and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
After attending San Jacinto Community College for several years, Tricia graduated with honors from the University of Houston in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Biology. In 2006, she earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
Prior to joining U.S. Dermatology Partners, Tricia worked as a physician assistant in Occupational Medicine at NOVA Healthcare. She also worked as a physician assistant at the Michael E. DeBakey Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Houston where she cared for dermatology patients.
When Tricia is not working, she enjoys exercising, traveling and spending time with her three young children. She and her family contribute regularly to Feed the Children, a global organization focused on ending childhood hunger.
