Dr. Bruce McDonald earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Tulsa, OK. His transitional internship included combined training through the United States Air Force (ACGME) Family Practice at Eglin Air Force Base and was completed at Tri-City (Osteopathic) Hospital in Dallas, TX. Dr. McDonald’s dermatology residency was completed through the Dallas, Texas Division of North East Community Hospital in Kirksville, MO.
Dr. McDonald served as Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force where he was a recipient of the Health Professions Scholarship Program (H.P.S.P.) all four years of his service. He is a member of the American Board of Osteopathic Dermatology, American Osteopathic Association, and a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, (F.A.O.C.D.)
Dr. McDonald provides compassionate care for his patients. He stays up to date in the knowledge in dermatology and in advanced skin cancer surgical (melanoma and wide margin excision) skills and experience.
Dr. McDonald and his wife have been married for over 30 years and have four sons.
