Physicians, Join Our Growing Network!

As a healthcare provider, you chose this field to interact with and take care of patients. The operational support of our larger organization will allow you the professional autonomy to focus even more on what you do best: taking care of your valued patients.

Whether you are looking to sell your practice, looking ahead to retirement or you are a resident looking for your first position, we offer the support you need to help you succeed in your goals.

At U.S. Dermatology Partners, we partner with like-minded physicians who share our value of providing the best in care to the patients we serve. Our physicians are among the top of their field. Each member in our family of practice maintains a unique culture but shares a common mission and vision.

Colby Evans, M.D. (Austin, TX)
Partnered with Dermatology Associates in April 2016

“I joined Dermatology Associates because I think we are stronger together than apart. Daily changes in the landscape of medicine make it more challenging to practice high quality medicine and help patients to the best of our ability. Joining together with a strong team of doctors and businesspeople gives us the flexibility and knowledge base to provide and give the best care we can and meet new challenges as they arise.”

Why choose U.S. Dermatology Partners?

In the ever-evolving landscape of the healthcare delivery system, we help you stay ahead of the curve. The resources and expertise of a larger group help you navigate the increasing complexities, regulatory requirements, and increasing cost of providing care. We manage the day-to-day operations. You have autonomy to practice medicine. We don’t establish company-wide medical or surgical protocols or a fixed formulary. Instead, we rely on our capable, local dermatology teams to establish dermatology medical standards that meet the needs of their patients. On top of that, nearly 80% of our physicians are owners in the group, so we are all working toward the same goal: providing the best patient care and experience for all of our patients.

Whether you are an experienced dermatologist looking to join a high-quality, well-run practice, a recent graduate of a dermatology residency or fellowship looking to start your practice, we would love to start a conversation.

“I joined Dermatology Associates earlier this year, and it has been the most rewarding and welcoming experience one could hope for. The entire DA team worked tirelessly to make my transition as easy and efficient as possible. Dermatology Associates provides both the support and the staff to have an ideal workflow in clinic, allowing me to see patients without administrative and financial hassle. I couldn’t have found a better fit and foresee myself practicing here for the long haul.”

“… U.S. Dermatology Partners has helped me seamlessly navigate some of the more foreign aspects of beginning my practice. They’ve been immensely valuable in navigating the often confusing and time-consuming world of insurance plan accreditation and managed care requirements. They’ve placed great emphasis on effective marketing tools targeted to help me specifically. While Dermatology Associates is a growing organization, I’ve always felt I’m a valuable member of the team, and that my individual needs as a physician have always been considered to be important.”

“When looking for a practice to join as I finished residency, I knew I wanted to be part of an organization who had a reputation for providing top-notch patient care. Time and time again, when speaking to patients, other physicians, etc., the same practice was recommended – Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers. Furthermore, I wanted to insure that I would have the necessary support on all levels to build a successful practice. Needless to say, Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers has not disappointed, and has exceeded my expectations in all aspects during this first year of practice. I look forward to a long, successful career with this organization.”

TAKING CARE OF PATIENTS REMAINS THE PRIORITY. “Taking care of patients the right way” is at the core of Dermatology Associates. It is the right thing to do – and it is what we do every day. Everything else aligns with this single focus.

During my dermatology residency more than 25 years ago, I remember my supervisor saying, “You can get away with a lot around here…but one thing you will not get away with is not taking care of patients!” Patient care has always been the focus of our organization. Nothing changed before or after joining Dermatology Associates.

As new dermatologists and practices join Dermatology Associates, the focus on patient care will remain the same because it is our core belief. Patients will continue to benefit by exceptional service, enhanced medical treatments and expanded access across the regions and country. And, as we are able to spend more time on care and less time on bureaucracy, we can focus on what we do best – “Taking care of patients the right way.”

Considering retirement?

Many dermatologists envision selling their practice to a respected associate—someone who provides great care and honors the culture they have established. Yet most residents entering practice carry a large debt burden from medical school. Existing practice owners can have trouble finding doctors to sell to and they can’t afford the base salaries that residents require to pay education debt.

At U.S. Dermatology Partners, we have the experience to ensure your legacy will continue long into the future. We work with you to develop a transition plan and, if necessary, recruit a new physician to take over your volume.

“…although Dermatology Associates made a very fair and generous offer to purchase my practice, I wasn’t ready to give up the reigns when we first met. I wanted to observe the experiences of other dermatologists as they joined. Loss of control of not only the financial practice issues, but the fear about professional and staff relationships were weighed. Nine months later, we re-engaged and the decision was made in March 2015; we officially became a part of Dermatology Associates July 1, 2015. The staff and patient base is intact, the transition was smooth and all the elements of our contract have been met in both letter and spirit. I appreciate being able to practice in the same manner as before I joined. Thank you to all the fine staff at Dermatology Associates.”
