“I joined U.S. Dermatology partners because I wanted to work somewhere with an experienced staff and efficient clinic flow, but more importantly, I wanted to work somewhere with a strong reputation for providing excellent patient care. With U.S. Dermatology Partners, I know I have the support I need to build a successful practice. Best of all, the transition and onboarding process was simple and easy.”

Why choose U.S. Dermatology Partners?

In the ever-evolving landscape of the healthcare delivery system, we help you stay ahead of the curve. The resources and expertise of a larger group help you navigate the increasing complexities, regulatory requirements, and increasing cost of providing care. We manage the day-to-day operations. You have the autonomy to practice medicine. We don’t establish company-wide medical or surgical protocols or a fixed formulary. Instead, we rely on our capable, local dermatology teams to establish dermatology medical standards that meet the needs of their patients. On top of that, nearly 80% of our physicians are owners in the group, so we are all working toward the same goal: providing the best patient care and experience for all of our patients.

Whether you are an experienced dermatologist looking to join a high-quality, well-run practice, a recent graduate of a dermatology residency or fellowship looking to start your practice, we would love to start a conversation.

TAKING CARE OF PATIENTS REMAINS THE PRIORITY. “Taking care of patients the right way” is at the core of U.S. Dermatology Partners. It is the right thing to do – and it is what we do every day. Everything else aligns with this single focus.

During my dermatology residency more than 25 years ago, I remember my supervisor saying, “You can get away with a lot around here…but one thing you will not get away with is not taking care of patients!” Patient care has always been the focus of our organization. Nothing changed before or after joining U.S. Dermatology Partners.

As new dermatologists and practices join U.S. Dermatology Partners, the focus on patient care will remain the same because it is our core belief. Patients will continue to benefit by exceptional service, enhanced medical treatments and expanded access across the regions and country. And, as we are able to spend more time on care and less time on bureaucracy, we can focus on what we do best – “Taking care of patients the right way.”

Considering Retirement?

Many dermatologists envision selling their practice to a respected associate—someone who provides great care and honors the culture they have established. Yet most residents entering practice carry a large debt burden from medical school. Existing practice owners can have trouble finding doctors to sell to and they can’t afford the base salaries that residents require to pay education debt.

At U.S. Dermatology Partners, we have the experience to ensure your legacy will continue long into the future. We work with you to develop a transition plan and, if necessary, recruit a new physician to take over your volume.
